Autumn and Winter volunteer sessions
Enjoy the fresh air, make connections and get involved with your community garden. Gloves, tools and guidance provided by our friendly gardeners, Jo and Charity, who will be on hand to guide you with tasks. All ages and abilities are welcome and no need to book. Volunteer gardening sessions are held every Wednesday 2pm-4pm in September and October, every Wednesday 1pm-3pm in November and on Wednesday 10 December 1pm-3pm.
Volunteer gardening sessions are also held on selected Sundays and we have sessions on 14 September 1pm-4pm, 12 October 1pm-4pm, 9 November 1pm-3pm and 12 December 1pm-3pm.

Seasonal connections workshops in the garden
Saturday 20 September 2025 | Celebrating Autumn Equinox 11am-2pm. One of our seasonal workshops to help you live more seasonally and to help you strengthen your connections with nature and the local community. There will be poetry reading, food sharing and more. Come play with us – board games sessions
Held in the garden if its warm/dry enough otherwise we’ll be upstairs in the Cloud Café, Dereham Road. Games are provided and you are welcome to bring your own. Join us on Wednesday 17 September at 4pm-6pm, and 15 October, 12 November and 10 December at 3pm-5pm. Free and no need to book. Please pay for your own drinks/snacks.
Family Gardening Club
Our Family Gardening Glub is held on the last Sunday of each month, over the spring, summer and Autumn. It will be held on Sunday 28 September and Sunday 26 October 2pm-3pm. Free, for more details and to book to attend, email contact@grapeshillcommunitygarden.org.

Acoustic jam sessions
Our acoustic jam sessions are held of the first Monday of each month. Bring a song or two you’d like to play or sing. Meet in the garden where we’ll have a fire – we may move on to Temple Bar, Earlham Road.
